Before you install

System requirements

One PC acts as the clinic's host (server). Other PCs just run the desktop client.

Host PC (the server)

  • Windows 10 (build 19041 / 20H1) or Windows 11, 64-bit
  • .NET 10 Desktop Runtime (x64) — the installer links you to it if missing
  • PostgreSQL 18+ installed locally (holds your clinic data)
  • Administrator rights to install (runs a background Hub service)

Client PCs & tablets

  • Windows 10/11 64-bit with the .NET 10 Desktop Runtime
  • On the same local network as the host PC
  • No database needed — they connect to the host over HTTPS
  • They auto-update from the host; no separate installs to manage
Getting started

From download to first patient in minutes

Run the installer

Install on the host PC. Approve the one-time UAC prompt; it sets up the Hub service and client.

First-run setup

The wizard configures your database, clinic owner account, computer role, and server address.

Activate your license

Sign in with your KAMS Labs account to activate. Free tier works on the host out of the box.

Add your team

On other PCs, install the client and point it at the host. They update themselves from then on.

Updates are automatic. The host quietly self-updates in the background, and client PCs pull the new version from the host — so the whole clinic stays current without anyone running an installer again.

Latest server build available to clinics: v1.0.0 (Jul 10, 2026).
